O que significa Akahon?
Akahon em japonês significa “livro vermelho”. Era uma espécie de publicação com xilogravuras do período Edo (início do período moderno do Japão), que em sua impressão se utilizava apenas tinta vermelha. Essa publicação apareceu pela primeira vez em 1662 e continuou popular até 1950 e faz parte da história editorial do Japão.
Sobre a Revista Akahon:
A Revista Akahon é uma publicação gratuita e trimestral. Ela foi inicialmente idealizada por duas designers que guardam fascínio pela cultura pop japonesa e seu conteúdo é desenvolvido com o apoio dos fãs e especialistas no assunto.

Akane, Aka-chanAkane é uma adolescente aparentemente meiga, porém é esperta e mandona. Por isso se aproveita da ingenuidade de Sashimi-kun. “Akane” significa vermelho brilhante em japonês. Curiosamente seu apelido “Aka-chan” forma a palavra japonesa para bebê (apesar de ela não gostar muito disso e preferir ser chamada de Aka-sama…). |

Sashimi-kunSashimi-kun é uma carpa vermelha que gosta de escutar música e cantar karaoke (apesar que canta super mal). Ele é capaz de voar e morder a cabeça da Aka-chan. Além disso é bastante corajoso de conviver com ela que, além de mandona, o enxerga como um prato da culinária japonesa. |
